Toxins do not only come from our external environment; toxins can also be generated internally by ‘bad’ bacteria. In a non-stop age of Wi-Fi, motorways and fast food, toxins are everywhere.
There are both avoidable an unavoidable toxins, but the line is blurring as social pressures and chemical engineering changes our habits and diets. How many of the following toxin producers can you control completely? There are food additives, pollutants in the water and air, chemicals, pesticides, heavy metals and drugs.
Even if you can limit your exposure, your body can work against you as bacteria, parasites and yeasts reside in your digestive system. These are not only offensive to your system, they also produce waste toxins which are subsumed into your bloodstream and transported around your body lowering vitality and the feeling of health.
“A toxin is a poison. It is created by live organisms and cells as waste, and, by man as a by-product of the fuels that run industry and preserves consumables.”
A natural cleansing process is perhaps one of the best strategies for quickly improving your health. Removing the build-up of toxins, you will feel an increase in energy and general well-being.
“The base unit of human life is the individual cells that make up the most complex system on earth, the human body. Addressing the needs of these cell by cleansing and nurturing them through a seven day detoxification process, will make your cells harmonize and sing.”
On a daily basis, we are exposed to a vast number of toxins that are invisible, and as such there is no way to know what we are taking into our bodies from the clothes we wear, to the tools we use and buildings we sleep in. The things we eat and drink, to the air we breathe, outside influences add to the toxicity of our system. In turn stress, bodily functions, exercise and combating disease all produce toxins within the body.
Every one of these substances poses a health risk, and not a lot is known about the cumulative effect when toxins combine within the body. What we do understand is the damage to cells often goes unseen, until it is critical.
They corrupt the environment of all cellular body systems, but it will often happen over time, month-by-month, until the body breaks down and conventional disease takes hold. This erosion of our body, at ever increasing rates, means we need to undergo extended detoxification regularly, now more than ever.
“There are numerous and deadly examples when chemical agents have been introduced into society, with deadly results. Think asbestos in homes, or lead water pipes in ancient Rome. There is a recent example of a chemical that was widely regarded as safe, backed up by government and industry stances. Now it has been linked directly to diabetes, cardiovascular disease and liver problems. The toxin is a plasticizer, it’s called bisphenol and is now present in at least 90 per cent of the population.”
“Of course, the body has natural mechanisms for removing toxins, however, they are now working beyond their limit to deal with the toxins that have increased exponentially since the industrial revolution. Couple that with reduced nutrition due to diets that are high in sugar and fat, and it is a recipe for shutting down our naturally occurring functions.”
It has never been more obvious that optimal health must include regular detoxification. Today, we are more than what we eat, we are what we breathe, what we drink and what we expose ourselves to.
The two main aspects that effect the toxic weight of your body is the category and quantity that you are open to, and how well your body can cope with these, or how quickly it can work to expel them.
The latter is dependent on a number of factors, like age, weight and general health and can explain why two people can react very differently when exposed to the same level and type of toxins. For example a young, fit and healthy body may show no immediate signs of ill health, whereas the very young, or very old may develop serious illness.
This targeted regime works on both issues, by not only minimizing your exposure to toxins, but also increasing your body’s ability to deal with any that may get through.
